The Mongolian Students Non-Profit Organization in America hosted the first annual College Admissions Camp 2011 on July 30-31st, 2011 in San Francisco, California. The goal for the camp was to inspire, educate and inform Mongolian high school students living in the US about the college admissions process. We had a total of 19 students who attended the camp, 3 from Seattle, Washington, 1 from Denver, Colorado, and the rest from various cities in California. The days were filled with numerous workshops such as SAT/ACT testing, letter of recommendation, resume, interviews, career counseling, personal statement, scholarships/financial aid, leadership development and more.
